DMPS is once again sponsoring a Summer Food Service Program, with sites providing free meals to all children 18 years of age or younger beginning in early June. There are a total of 36 meal sites throughout the community that will provide lunch; 27 will also provide breakfast. Funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, DMPS has offered a summer meal program for more than 30 years. First Lady Michelle Obama announced today that she will host a Turnaround Arts Talent Show, and the Harding Middle School Breakerz dance group will be performing. Harding is one of five Turnaround Arts schools at DMPS. The event is at the White House next Wednesday, March 25. Click above for more.
