Nearly 350 student-musicians from Cattell, Findley, Garton, Madison, Moulton, Oak Park, Harding, Goodrell, and North schools gathered in the North High auditorium on Tuesday night to perform in the Northside Bands Night.The arts have been alive and well on the Northside as these schools form the core of the Turnaround Arts initiatives at DMPS. The Harding Breakerz were in the national spotlight last year when they performed at the White House. Saturday they hosted Youth Break-dancing Battle 2017, bringing together students, parents and community members for a workshop and some friendly competition.
